On Tuesday, September 3rd, many of you received an alert from our ID Protect service noting that a change had been made to your COPFCU Visa Credit Card account. The alert noted that your credit card had been “Transferred/Sold.” We have been notified by Equifax that this was an error on their part. Today, Equifax will be reversing all changes put into effect on Tuesday. After this change occurs, your account should revert to the open/active status. Please note that this change will likely result in an additional alert from ID Protect about your Visa Credit Card. As always, if you have any questions about this new alert, please contact us.
As a reminder, in November we will be switching our credit card processing vendor to WorldPay, a Cincinnati-based firm that is a global leader in card processing. COPFCU will remain the owner of your credit card account. WorldPay will be performing the transaction processing only. More information will be provided to you about this change in the coming weeks.
