Our Password Requirements are Changing Effective Sunday, March 11th
To provide added security to your accounts, we are expanding the number of characters you can use for your online and mobile banking password to 256 characters. By expanding the password field to 256 characters, you are able to use longer passwords….and the longer your password is, the more secure it is. In addition, this change allows you to use randomly generated passwords from services like Keeper, Password Manager Safe Vault and Dashlane.
This change will take effect on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Please note: if you are currently typing a password longer than 10 characters, you will not be able to log in to Online or Mobile banking on March 11th. You will have to change your password on this date by clicking “I forgot my password” and following the prompts to create a new one.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. We do believe, however, that the added security provided by this change will far outweigh the short-term inconvenience to you.
