Cincinnati Police Federal Credit Union Named a Top Credit Union
I am proud to report that Cincinnati Police Federal Credit Union has been named one of the best performing credit unions
in Return of the Member rankings by Callahan and Associates for year end 2008. COPFCU ranked 2nd overall out of 412
Ohio Credit Unions. On a nationwide scale, the credit union ranked 6th out of 768 credit unions in asset range from $50
million to $100 million.
According to Callahan & Associates, an independent research and consulting firm that specializes in financial institutions,
their Return of the Member (ROM) scoring system measures how well a credit union is serving its members. Specifically, the
ROM scores credit unions on three areas: lending, savings and product usage. Credit unions with a high ROM ranking are
offering savings and loan products with very competitive rates. As a result, these products are heavily used by members
because they offer great value in the financial marketplace.
At COPFCU, our mission has always been simple -- to give our members the best rates, products and services we can and to
treat our members right. Our ranking as a top performing credit union both nationwide and in the state of Ohio in Callahan's
Return of the Member index proves that we are fulfilling our mission, even in these trying economic times.
